Propolis is collected by honey bees. It is a resin collected from tree buds, sap flows, plants & trees and other botanicals. It is used in the bee hive to keep it sterile and healthy. It has been cut with 75% alcohol by volume. Many use it on minor wounds, and sore throats. Said to have many beneficial properties.
